HIABC is committed to providing continuing education for its members to keep up with changes in building practices and to ensure that our members continue to provide professional quality services to their clients.
Annual In-Person Conference
HIABC’s Annual Conference is our flagship in-person event, bringing together home inspectors from across the province for education, connection, and community. While this year’s event will take place in the fall — October 18 & 19, 2025, at the Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport — the format remains as engaging and enriching as ever.

HIABC members are required to complete 20 Continuing Education Credits annually to maintain membership in good standing. In addition to the annual in-person conference, HIABC continues to offer a lineup of monthly webinars and association developed courses to help members meet their education requirements year-round.
These flexible learning options have allowed us to bring industry experts directly to our members, enhancing both knowledge and professionalism across the association.
